Registration Information

Parents who would like a place at Springvale for their child should register with us directly. As a small specialist school with a limited number of places we have to carefully assess the suitability of each pupil before making a decision as to whether we can offer a place. Springvale will not offer any child a place unless the staff feel confident that they can help him or her. We cannot accept children whose behaviour may compromise the learning of others (or, indeed, their own learning).

If an assessment and consultation are required, a combined fee of £400.00 is payable to Springvale School. This fee comprises £270.00 for a placement assessment together with a written report.

Due to the high demand for places at the school, a place is only held on payment of a deposit of £300.00 which is refunded when a pupil leaves the site.

Where places are offered, the first term's fee is payable the month before commencement (i.e. the fees for a new pupil starting at the beginning of the Winter Term should be received by the Springvale Office no later than 1st August).

Fees cover the cost of salaries, basic overheads, equipment and facilities at Springvale. Small group teaching, individual lessons where necessary and highly qualified staff mean that costs are relatively high. However, every effort is made to keep fees as low as possible whilst maintaining high standards. We are extremely competitive compared with other specialist schools.
