About Springvale Independent School

Springvale Independent school will open in September 2008. It is a state of art private school, specialising in children with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and ADHD aged 7-16. The school offers places for 40 children with a 1 to 5 staff to pupil ratio. The school combines multi sensory cross-curricular teaching, with a supportive approach to building self-esteem and developing personal and academic potential.

A whole-school approach to Dyslexia
Multisensory programmes to encourage self-confidence, self-esteem and feelings of success.
Pastoral support by Head and Group Tutors
All Teachers have extensive experience teaching people with Dyslexia, all have or are completing OCR level 7 Diploma or equivalent in SPLD/Dyslexia.
Professional Support Team, including Educational Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist.
